Not so easy. But if you can’t relax and be still, chances are, you can’t be accurate. So here are some ways to improve accuracy by improving your stillness.
1. Physical relaxation – Exercise can help you sleep better, relax better, and focus better.
2. Mental Relaxation – Meditation helps you remove unwanted clutter from your mind so you can concentrate on one thought at a time, (like where the bullseye is). A huge percentage of pro- fessional athletes use various forms of meditation to clear their minds for concentration. Find the form that works for you.
3. Visualization – Imagine yourself relaxing, focusing, firing and hitting the bullseye. Visual repetition improves live practice.
4. Objective Observation. Schedule private, one-on one sessions with a professional instructor who can observe and explain how you can improve by watching and observing you shoot. You can’t watch yourself and you do not want to practice bad form until habits become more difficult to change.
Sure Fire Instruction can help in all of these areas. Just ask and we would be glad to help.
